Karen

A Very well written book. It was good insight into the mind of a bipolar person. Thank you Ruby for being brave enough to share. I pray that God will continue to heal and bless you. A true page turner. Started to read and never put it down until I finished it. Including listening to your song suggestions at the end.

This book is 3 things. Relatable, sad and ,joyful. There are a few things that people can relate to in some ways. You’ll have to read to find yours. The sadness comes from Ruby feeling alone like most people suffering from mental illness often do. I come from a time where depression and anxiety were unheard of. If you had a problem you were told to just simply get over it. The joyful part is seeing Ruby finding peace and being able to cope with the day to day life. Thank you Ruby Lucus for taking the time and sharing your life with us readers. You are so brave. And may God bless you every day.

Lauren Hemenetz

A moving book that helps others understand how difficult and isolating mental illness can be. Ruby bravely tells her story and leaves the reader with hope that there can be a light at the end of a dark tunnel.

An excellent read, highly recommended for anyone dealing bipolar disorder, either themselves or a loved one.

Such an incredible story of hope. This book takes the reader into reality of living with mental illness, including all of the emotions which accompany the journey: loneliness, frustration, shame, sorrow, and more. The story is engaging and a true example of courage in spite of tremendous difficulty.

Though many may be tempted to view mental illness from a place of despair, the author shows how she found profound Hope, which changed the course of her journey and still brings her comfort and freedom today.

This book is an important read for anyone who knows someone with a mental illness or anyone who is walking through the journey of mental illness themselves!
