Our Mission

In an act of bravery, Ruby chooses to speak candidly about her life in order for people to truly understand what mental illness is. She also hopes to heal
the hardest part of living with bipolar disorder: loneliness. In I Will Fly, Ruby lights a torch to pass on to others suffering from mental illness in an
effort to build camaraderie and reach those who feel completely detached in a world of healthy, successful people.

It is also Ruby’s desire to get this book into the hands of those in need. Her personal goal is to donate books to all the jails and prisons in New York State.
She began that process in March, sending out 25 copies with the desire to finish this goal within the year.
